The institutions of Italy and Germany in a discussion on sustainability in packaging.
Italy and Germany choose a collaborative approach and organise a series bilateral sectorial meeting to support the trade fair system. The initiative is promoted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the German Ministry of Economy and Energy, aiming at creating privileged dialogue opportunities between Italian and German industries within specific trade fairs. During these meetings, Italian and German associations and industries will share visions and solutions in order to strengthen their cooperation and future partnership.
On April 23, the kick-off of the project within VIRTUAL. DRUPA was opened by the Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Manlio Di Stefano, who anticipated the next appointment in the collaboration path between Italy and Germany: Future Factory 2021 on 10/11 June, in Milan.
The round table continued with representatives from Drupa, Acimga, VDMA and other industries discussing the future of packaging and the next steps with a view to sustainability for the entire global sector.
